LUDOS

The last mile

Nothing on this site has a cart in it. Pressing a buy button moves you to our retail partner, and everything about the journey from there is theirs to run.

How an order travels

You choose here and you buy there. The listing you land on holds the stock, the options and the checkout, and the number showing on that listing is the one that counts, because it is the one you will be charged.

After that the partner packs it and hands it to a carrier. Speed, cost and the choice of carrier are set by them and by where you are, and the estimate on their order page is the only estimate worth reading.

What we can see, which is nothing

We do not hold stock and we do not process orders, so there is no screen anywhere in this building with your name on it. A tracking number means as little to us as it would to a stranger.

When a parcel is late, the order page where you bought is the place that knows. It has the carrier, the tracking and the people who can chase it, and going there first saves you the round trip through us.

What we can help with while you wait

Which tip to start with, which way round the cable is meant to sit, what the button presses do, and whether the plug you ordered will fit the thing you meant to plug it into. Ask those now and the pair works the moment it lands.

If the answer turns out to be that you ordered the wrong plug, say so early. That is a return, and a return is easier to start before the parcel has been sitting opened on a desk for three weeks.

What is your jack?

Two questions. The first is about the socket you plug into, because that rules more pairs in and out than anything else here. The second is about what you are actually doing while you wear them, because that is what each line was built around.
